Donation of Goods Policy

Offers of unsolicited donations of printed matter and other “memorabilia” may place Museum members in a difficult position. Following an upturn in such offers, the Museum’s resources have become strained by the influx.

In February 2017 the Museum adopted the policy:

"No further donations of books, magazines, timetables, railway publications, plans, drawings photographs and small exhibits of any kind shall be accepted by any member or volunteer on behalf of the Museum UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.”
