Location and directions
NOTE: there is no access for coaches and large vehicles to the Museum if travelling WEST along Tusculum Road.
Westbound traffic: exit the Great Western Highway via the railway underpass (Springwood signage) and turn sharp left into Tusculum Road. The Museum driveway is second on the left about 100 metres from the corner.
Eastbound traffic: exit the Great Western Highway at the George St traffic lights (Winmalee signs), follow Silva Road to the Hawkesbury Rd roundabout, turn right over the bridge, turn left at the next roundabout into Macquarie Rd, and turn right into Tusculum Road before the railway underpass.
Parking is available on the Museum driveway.
From Valley Heights railway station
Valley Heights Railway Station is not wheelchair accessible — no lift, no toilet facilities — access via footbridge only.

Walking:
Exit station via footbridge.
Turn right into Greens Parade and follow footpath over railway bridge.
Turn right into Tusculum Road.
Continue to walk on footway-cycleway on left of Tusculum Road to museum main entry.

From Springwood railway station
Springwood Railway Station is wheelchair accessible with a passenger lift; alternatively use stairs to access the platform from the pedestrian subway.

Distance: 1.8 km from Springwood station to museum
Walking:
Follow Macquarie Road east from Springwood.
Turn right into Tusculum Road before Macquarie Road passes under the railway.
Turn left into the access road to the museum.

The taxi rank is on Macquarie Road near the Post Office, 100 m east of Springwood Railway Station.
