Join the volunteers at Valley Heights Rail Museum for your serve of SPRINGTIME STEAM these school holidays.
Sunday 24 September sees regular Open Days continue with a 20 minute ride* in an 1890-built carriage hauled by crowd favourite ‘STEVO THE SADDLE TANK ENGINE’.
Sunday 8 October ride on the 1890s Steam Tram* which once plied the streets of Sydney and Parramatta.
Spend an hour or two enjoying all the exhibits and activities that take you on a remarkable trip through time. Explore the displays, locomotives and rolling stock, many open for inspection, which showcase 150 years of Blue Mountains transport history and check out the popular model railway room. Browse the shop for that unusual souvenir or gift, then relax with a gourmet sandwich, barista coffee, pie, cold drink or ice cream in the café. Book online to secure your preferred ride* time (hourly from 10:30 until 14:30, then last ride* at 15:15). Bring your family and friends, bring your camera and prepare yourself for a truly memorable experience!
Be sure to arrive 30 minutes before your train ride.
Admission: $18 Adult, $15 Concession, $12 Children aged 4-17, FREE Infants aged 3 and under, $55 Family (2 adults + 2 children).
