Visit Valley Heights in June 2022...

The 108 year-old locomotive depot is filled with remarkable engines, carriages, wagons and railway artifacts that highlight transport history in the Blue Mountains. With heritage train or tram ride* included in admission fee, everyone will enjoy the sights and sounds of yesteryear.

Learn about the rich railway history the Museum site beholds. Kids both little and big, young and old will love the 1950s working model of the Valley Heights Depot. Climb aboard a century old steam loco to hear the crew prepare for the day’s work then view stunning railway themed artworks. Volunteers have re-organised viewing areas and made sure that visitors have plenty of time to see everything on show under full CovidSafe conditions.

Open from 10:00 until 16:00.

Avoid disappointment - Pre-booking your tickets is highly recommended. Select, reserve and secure your seat aboard your preferred train/tram ride.

Pre-booking also gives flexibility for you to manage your Museum visit, allowing you to arrive close to your ride departure time, avoiding lengthy wait times before spending time exploring all the attractions the Museum has to offer. Visit for a few hours or the whole day. Refreshments available.

Bring your family, bring your friends, bring your camera and leave with great memories!
