The Valley Heights Rail Museum, together with the Campbelltown Steam Museum, presents the second Blue Mountains Steam FunFest.

Save the dates and book now -- Friday 11 July to Sunday 13 July -- the middle weekend of the July School Holidays.

Come along and experience a day full of Steam Fun!

Tickets include:

• Museum Admission 

• Rides on both the 130 year old Sydney Steam Tram and the 125 year old Steam Train. 

• View the display of various steam powered machinery provided by the Campbelltown Steam & Machinery Museum. 

Pre-booked tickets are essential. Scroll down to book your tickets. 

• $27 all adults

• $18 all concessions and members of Valley Heights Lcomotive Depot Heritage Museum and the Steam Tram and Railway Preservation (Co-Op) Society

• $0 support person for companion card holder

• $18 children 4-17

• $0 infants 3 and under

Parking at the Museum site is limited. We strongly recommend that you arrive 60 minutes prior to your booked ride to avoid disappointment. 

If there are no parking spaces available on site, use the Valley Heights station car park and walk (15-20 minutes). [See Walking and driving directions].

Online bookings close at 19:00 (7pm) the night before your proposed visit.

NOTE: If you have not pre-booked:

• you are still welcome to attend and pay on arrival,

• we cannot guarantee train and tram rides if you have not pre-booked. Morning rides tend to be fully booked ... we recommend that you come after lunch for a better chance of securing a ride on the steam train and steam tram without pre-booking.

  Valley Heights Mixed at 10:10 and Steam Tram at 11:00

• Ride 02 (10:30) & Ride 04 (11:20)
  Valley Heights Mixed at 10:30 and Steam Tram at 11:30

• Ride 05 (11:50) & Ride 08 (13:00)
  Valley Heights Mixed at 11:50 and Steam Tram at 13:00

• Ride 06 (12:10) & Ride 09 (13:20)
  Valley Heights Mixed at 12:10 and Steam Tram at 13:20

• Ride 07 (12:30) & Ride 10 (14:40)
  Valley Heights Mixed at 12:30 and Steam Tram at 14:40

• Ride 11 (14:10) & Ride 13 (15:00)

Event terms and conditions

• All tickets are for entry to the Valley Heights Rail Museum from 10.00 to 15.00.

• 'Museum only' includes all activities, except a steam train ride.

• Please be sure of your availability before you book as there are NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES offered.

• Complimentary carer tickets are available for this event. Approved carers may purchase a Concession ticket.

• Children under 4 are admitted FREE but may need to sit on an adult's lap during train ride.

• The Valley Heights Steam Tramway reserves the right to change locomotive power without notice for operational reasons.
